Holidays to Corsica
Corsica Holidays
If you are looking for dramatic scenery, a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere and clean, beautiful beaches, then Corsica holidays are an excellent choice.
Nightlife is fairly low key, larger towns have a good selection of bars but most evening entertainment is based around the restaurants. If you love dining out, a few glasses of wine and an evening stroll in beautiful surroundings, then a Corsican holiday is ideal.
Beach holidays in Corsica
There are close to 200 beaches in Corsica, many of the beaches are situated in hidden coves along the shoreline and are often accessible only by boat or on foot. White or golden sand and colourful pebble beaches are lapped by crystal clear waters, drenched in the Mediterranean sunshine, perfect for beach holidays.
There are good standards of cleanliness across all beaches in Corsica even on the busier town beaches. The most popular beaches are patrolled by lifeguards but bear in mind this may not be the case for more “out of the way” places.
Watersports holiday in Corsica
Corsica is an excellent windsurfing holiday destination with the ever present wind. There are excellent opportunities for swimming, water-skiing and jet-skiing and boat hire and sailing trips are readily available.
Corsica is one of the best diving holiday destinations in Europe due to its exceptionally clean waters and warm temperatures. With approximately 30 diving centres around the coastline, there are many exciting dives. The underwater landscape has been impressively preserved, aided by the absence of an intensive commercial fishing industry and also due to the lack of pollution.
Walking holidays in Corsica
There are plenty of other walks for all abilities around the island and marked trails make it easier to find your way about.
Golf Holidays in Corsica
18-hole Golf de Spérone is regarded as one of Europe’s finest golf courses. Six of the eighteen holes are on the coast along the cliffs and the dramatic views make your Corsican golf experience something really special. There are no other 18-hole courses in Corsica although there are some 9-hole courses and you can always combine your golf holiday with a trip to the Pevero Golf Club in Sardinia, a short ferry ride away.
Other Activities in Corsica
There are plenty of other activities to enjoy while on holiday in Corsica. If you enjoy horse-riding, there are opportunities to trek across the mountains, over the beaches or even to swim with the horses!

Freshwater and Sea Fishing are possible for keen fishermen, although you will need a licence for River Fishing which can be easily obtained from local fishing clubs.
Outdoor pursuits such as Canoeing, Rafting, Climbing and Canyoning are also popular.
