Yoghurt has been cultivated and consumed in Bulgaria from as far back as 3,000 BC and it is claimed by some that yoghurt originated in Bulgaria, it tastes far superior to that sold in UK supermarkets.

Food and drink are much cheaper in Bulgaria than other European holiday destinations, local Bulgarian Wines and Beers are very popular.
